The OpenClaw Story

OpenClaw is the evolution of two previous products: Moltbot and Clawdbot. Both products were created to solve the same problem - helping busy people automate repetitive tasks without complex coding.

In 2024, we unified these products under the OpenClaw brand. This allowed us to combine the best workflows from both products, improve documentation, and provide a better experience for everyone.

Security First

We take security seriously. Our workflows are designed with least-privilege access in mind. We never ask you to paste full API keys or credentials into our templates.

All integrations use scoped tokens with minimal permissions. Your data stays in your accounts - we don't store or process any of your business data.
